The Frankford CDC Commercial Corridor Manager, Michelle Feldman serves as Secretary to the FBPA and Chair of the Membership Committee.

  • Frankford CDC works with the FBPA to review and update the Program of Work for FBPA’s calendar year.
  • The FBPA in turn has assisted Frankford CDC in hiring a new Commercial Corridor Manager, Michelle Feldman began working on the corridor in January.

The Frankford Special Services District (FSSD) is a Business Improvement District serving the Frankford Avenue commercial corridor and surrounding area.  FSSD provides sidewalk cleaning and administers a Safety Ambassador program.  FCDC has worked to identify needs of the businesses, funding for FSSD and a business listing brochure.

  • Frankford CDC has visited businesses along the commercial corridor and conducted a survey to assess the needs and issues of the businesses.
  • FCDC and FSSD have worked together toward Frankford Litter Free and Recycling Initiatives

Frankford CDC works closely with the Office of Business Services (OBS) to help meet the needs of businesses within the commercial corridor.  For example, FCDC has worked with the City and other resources to develop a language access plan.  Spanish speaking and various Asian languages have been addressed and communicated with to merchants.  Several resource documents have been translated as well.
