The Frankford Commercial Corridor is strategically located southeast of the Frankford Transportation Center; SEPTA’s busiest transportation center with over 50,000 riders daily. The Commercial Corridor is one of the City’s largest, running from 4200 to 5200 Frankford Avenue.
The Frankford Commercial Corridor currently has approximately 180 active businesses located on Frankford Avenue and several hundred more throughout the adjacent streets and neighborhood.

The Frankford Community Development Corporation also assists existing area businesses with identifying and utilizing resources available to support, fund and promote their business. The City Storefront Improvement Program is a façade program with reimbursed grant monies available to new or existing businesses to make improvements to their facades. These improvements include but are not limited to windows, lighting, awnings, doors and security gates.
